Boomer's Day in the Park

Ciao from Arezzo!

Today Boomer and I explored the Historic town of Arezzo. Flat Boomer and I had a fun filled day playing in the park. He went swinging on the swings and played on the slide.

Physical activity is very important for everyone. Boomer tries to get 60 minutes of exercise everyday. How many minutes a day do you exercise?

After exercising Boomer was very tired and needed to take a break. The park had an amazing view of the town. He stopped to take in the scenery. Arezzo is beautiful!

After catching his breath and taking in the scenery Boomer noticed a statue in the middle of the park and decided to walk over and check it out.

The statue was of Francesco Petrarca, who is known by many as Petrarch. Francesco Petrarca is a famous Italian scholar and poet who was born in Arezzo. Click this link to learn more about Francesco Petrarca:

Boomer loves learning about the history of Arezzo! Ask your parents or teacher to tell you more about the history of your town!

Ciao!!
