Boomer in Arezzo

Boomer is loving his time here in Arezzo!! He spent the day at the OU campus here and loved it! The campus here is small, but very nice and has great Italian charm and character! The town is bigger than I expected and has a little over 100,000 people, but it is still quiet and very relaxed. It is located just south east of Florence and is a province of Tuscany. I have really enjoyed walking around and getting a feel for the Italian culture and I must say the food is wonderful and the gelato is SOOOO yummy! There is always something going on in Arezzo and if you ever visit and want to know what is going on click or copy this link http://www.arezzoturismo.it/eng/php for a website that is very helpful.  It gives you tips of the best places to eat and stay as well as answer many questions you may have. The weather here is great and you will need a light jacket in the morning and evening because it becomes a little cooler outside, but it still feels wonderful.

We went by the Church of Francesco today and only saw the outside, but we have not been inside yet. I am really excited to go inside of it soon! For additional information, pictures of the interior and reviews can be seen at this website http://www.tripadvisor.com/Attraction_Review-g194673-d195348-Reviews-Church_of_San_Francesco_Arezzo-Arezzo_Province_of_Arezzo_Tuscany.htm
The reviews are really helpful and give you the price as well as the best times to go and when not to go. Overall it seems like a very enjoyable experience and many people have nice things to say about the church.

This website also gives you great detail about the San Francesco church. It gives fun facts like how it was the second church built in the city and has various chapels inside. Check out the link!!

I have only been in Arezzo for two days, but it has already captured my heart and Boomers'! We are really excited to explore more over the course of our trip and to let everyone know what we find! :)
