Boomer Around Arezzo 5/23

Hello everybody! My name is Kevin Adler and I am a student studying abroad with the University of Oklahoma College of Education in Arezzo, Italy. Today was our fifth day in the beautiful country of Italy.  Since we are indeed here to study, my first picture above shows boomer in class with me today. Boomer was thoroughly enjoying our technology class this morning and Dr. Cullen's lecture over teachers and the standards they follow when developing lesson plans. If you would like more information over the OU Study Abroad in Arezzo and to see what we are doing, please follow the link below and maybe you could be here in Italy some day!

After a long day of technology and special education courses, boomer and the rest of the students took a trip to a local winery in Arezzo. While on the property, we were given a full tour of the vines, given the history of the grounds where the winery was, and tasted three different wines made on site! In the picture above, you can see one case of the bottles we tried (which was personally my favorite of the three) which I heard is actually being shipped off to New York to be distributed! The winery only makes red wine and can store in different ways and change the period of time in which it is stored to develop different, all natural favors.  For more information on this wonderful winery, please follow the link below and try not to get too jealous!

This final picture is a picture of boomer and the table getting ready to not only have his first of three glasses of wine, but also try the various different types meat. This is important during a wine tasting because the food and water allow you to clear your tasting pallet in your mouth so you are able to get all of the favors from the wine. Below, I have attached a really cool link on things to look for when you go wine tasting! Feel free to take a peak and get yourself out to the vineyard on a beautiful summer day.
