Boomer in Cinque Terre

Today Boomer and I ventured to Cinque Terre. Cinque Terre is on the coast of Italy. In English, Cinque Terre means "five lands". It's called five lands because it is a region composed of five seperate coastlines, all connected by a pathway for walking and/or the train these being the only ways to travel from one land to the next. Want to see where Cinque Terre is? Follow the link to see where it is located on the map:

Cinque Terre is a quaint beach town full of colorful buildings surrounded by crystal blue water and luscious hills. Cinque Terre has pretty steep hills that are ideal for people who enjoy hiking! In order to make the hills liveable and able to produce food, stones had to be placed in the mountains which helped to level out the land. Our tour guide told us that there are more stones in all the hills of Cinque Terre than the Great Wall of China! That's crazy!! Want to learn more about thr beautiful Cinque Terre? Follow this link:

Pesto, which is a green spread, actually originated from the Cinque Terre region. Here's a link on how to make your own pesto sauce. You can feel like your in Cinque Terre yourself! Pesto goes great on pizza and/or sandwiches!
